Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) is used to determine redox potentials, reaction mechanisms, chemical concentrations and kinetic rate constants. Its data can yield both qualitative and quantitative information about the system being studied. Its idustrial applications include batteries, fuel cells, biological electrochemistry, electrolysis, and chemical sensors.

The CV130 includes both the experimental script for data acquisition and an Excel macro package for analyzing and reporting your data.

Implemented as a user-modifiable script, the CV130 software allows the user to control initial and final voltage, forward and reverse scan limits, scan rates, resolution, number of cycles, and maximum current. All setups are entered through the Cyclic Voltammetry dialog box.
