Covered Grating

Covered molded grating offers a strong, level surface for foot or cart traffic and provides approximately 30% higher stiffness values than that of open mesh grating. Its standard grit-top cover assures secure footing.

Applications include facilities where covered grating walkways prohibit contamination to conveyor or work surfaces below; facilities where covered grating provides a walking surface and controls subsurface odors; walkways over tank tops and vats and solid flooring where narrow heels might present a tripping hazard with open mesh grating.

Covered grating is ideal for ramps that could become slippery due to wet weather or spills causing a safety hazard. Fiberglass covered grating eliminates the problem with excellent slip-resistant traction.

Covered grating can also be used for pit covers to help contain odor and eliminates use of corroding metals.
