Continental Resources, Inc. Expands Use Of Services With ESP Resources, Inc. To Include Completion Petrochemicals

Scott, LA (GlobeNewswire) - ESP Resources, Inc. ESPI +12.00% (the "Company" or "ESP Resources"), an oil and gas services company offering analytical services and essential custom-blended oil and gas well chemicals which improve production yields and overall efficiencies, announced today that it has expanded its petrochemical service work with Continental Resources, Inc. ("Continental") to include completion petrochemicals. Continental is one of the largest oil producers in the Bakken shale trend of North Dakota and Montana and a significant producer in the Woodford shale trend in Oklahoma.

Currently, the Company is supplying production petrochemicals to Continental in the Jefferson Island field location in South Louisiana. With completion petrochemicals services, ESP Resources' new chemical delivery fracking (a.k.a. hydraulic fracturing) units will be used to pump chemicals to treat the fluids used in the completion of Continental's wells in the Anadarko Woodford shale formation.
