Chevron Superla DCO 55, 75
Customer Benefits
Chevron Superla DCO delivers value through
A high degree of purity - Colorless, odorless, tasteless
Cost effectiveness - Extensive testing and commercial experience have proven the safety and effectiveness of white oil for dust control. Many grain elevators have been able to shut down expensive mechanical dust control systems by switching to the oil-additive process. Dust disposal problems are reduced and grain dust losses are minimized.
Grain dust control - Low dust concentrations have been shown to increase worker health and productivity by improving work conditions.
Increased safety in grain handling facilities - The reduction of airborne dust decreases the risk of fire and explosion and may result in lower insurance costs.
Features
Chevron Superla DCO are highly refined food grade white mineral oils that exceed FDA purity requirements for the dedusting of grains intended for human consumption.
Applications
Chevron Superla DCO can be used to control dust on animal feeds, chemicals, and fertilizers.
Food grade white mineral oils are widely used for dust control by the grain industry. White oil is applied to the grain just before or during active grain tumbling to prevent dust from escaping the grain stream. For best results, the oil should be applied before the grain enters the storage bin. Only food grade oils that meet the tough standards of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) may be used for this application. Chevron Superla DCO does not promote grain rancidity.
Chevron Superla DCO are field-proven products, which are fully authorized by the FDA for grain dedusting - at concentrations up to 200 ppm on the grain, and 800 ppm on rice.
