Celanese Renews Engineering, Technical Services Contract With CDI Corp.

CDI Corp. (Philadelphia, PA), a leading provider of customized staffing and outsourcing solutions, has a new, three-year contract to continue to provide Celanese with onsite technical and administrative services at its Texas-based locations. CDI will provide a variety of contract professionals, including engineers, CAD designers and administrative support personnel, to Celanese' six facilities in Texas, located in Bay City, Bayport, Bishop, Corpus Christi, Clear Lake and Pampa.

CDI, which calls itself the U.S.'s largest provider of engineering and engineering support staffing, outsourcing and consulting, has 34,000 employees, and had $1.5 billion in revenue in 1997. It serves electronics, aerospace, energy and petrochemical, automotive, telecommunications, government, marine, banking and financial services, pharmaceuticals and other industries.
