Bulk Bag Unloader With Gravity Diverter Valve To Discharge Entire Contents Bags

Belleville, NJ - Aerocon a leader in aeromechanical conveying and bulk handling systems introduces an application specific bulk bag unloader that provides a clean, and efficient way to discharge the entire contents of a bulk bag.

A typical bulk bag can be placed in the bulk bag unloader by forklift, hoist or crane from floor level. An optional hoist on a monorail can be furnished if desired. A heavy- duty frame holds the suspension loops of the bulk bag and can be raised. When lowered, the bottom of the bag rests on a sealing ring while the tension on the bag loops keep the bag upright. This particular bulk bag unloader incorporates a "pant leg" gravity diverter valve that enables the operator to select the appropriate processes. When activated, an air-operated mechanism closes the bag. The operator then changes the path of the material flow in the "pant leg" by moving the lever, which diverts the material into another process.

To make material in the bag more free flowing, optional pneumatically operated actuator petals can be added. These petals massage the lower portion of the bag to promote material flow towards the center of the bag. Material is then discharged by gravity for transfer into another location by some form of mechanical or pneumatic conveying system. Many options for discharge are available, including screw feeders, rotary valves etc.

The Aerocon bulk bag unloader provides a safe, efficient and dust free way of discharging all of your bulk materials into the next step of your existing process.
