Brinderson was founded in 1965 by company Chairman and CEO Gary L. Brinderson. We are a privately held engineer and constructor of process plants, refineries, ports, energy plants, health care facilities and industrial complexes and have completed more than 300 major projects valued at more than $3.0 billion for a client list that includes numerous Fortune 100 companies.

Brinderson, one of the country's largest and most prominent construction firms, currently has numerous projects under way throughout the western United States. The company's success has earned it the distinction of being ranked among the top 300 contractors for over two decades, according to Engineering News-Record magazine, the "bible" of the construction industry. Brinderson-built projects can be found throughout the United States.

Brinderson started as a mechanical contractor and has built public works projects for the U.S. Navy and major water reclamation agencies, among others. Over the last decade Brinderson has concentrated on industrial, commercial and heavy construction in the private sector.

At Brinderson, maintaining a safe work environment is key to success in the new millennium. During the 1990's the company achieved over one million work hours without a lost time incident. The company's OSHA recordable rate -- around 1.50 -- is well below the industry average of 12.0. Safety is a test for how good the company really is -- it's a reflection of management's commitment to our work force, our clients personnel, and the core businesses and how we develop practices to make sure accidents don't happen.

Our focus is now on client satisfaction. This leads to repeat business based on performance and relationships. As we enter the 21st century, we are poised to grow as a premier, turnkey engineering and construction firm serving clients with a full range of capabilities, services and qualified personnel.
