BHA was founded in 1975 as a division of Standard Havens, Inc. to manufacture and market baghouse accessory products. Starting with just one sales location and one manufacturing facility, BHA quickly earned a reputation for innovative products and troubleshooting expertise. In 1986, BHA became a public company and has since grown to be the world's leader in its industry, with more than $155 million in sales during fiscal year 1999.
BHA supplies parts, engineered systems, and troubleshooting services for fabric filter dust collection (baghouse) equipment used in many industries, including cement, metals, hot mix asphalt, incinerators, chemical, food, and carbon black. BHA's fabric filter manufacturing facilities in Missouri, USA encompass nearly 300,000 square feet. In fact, BHA's plant in Slater, Missouri is the largest filter bag manufacturing facility in the world.
