Aspectrics Appoints Scientific Support Services Ltd For Exclusive Distribution Throughout UK And Ireland

Pleasanton, CA - Aspectrics, Inc., the innovator of patented Encoded Photometric Near Infrared (EP-NIR) spectroscopy technology, announced the appointment of Scientific Support Services Ltd as UK distributor. With over 13 years' experience in distribution, Scientific Support Services Ltd is a leading provider of high quality instrumentation and related support services in science laboratories in a broad range of industries. This partnership will see Scientific Support Services Ltd become the exclusive distributor of Aspectrics' complete range of EP-NIR biodiesel process analyzers across UK and Ireland.

Hampshire-based Scientific Support Services Ltd will be responsible for the distribution of Aspectrics' complete range of biodiesel analyzers, including the company's Biodiesel Quality Analyzer 1000 (BQA 1000) and the Aspectrics 2750 Biodiesel Analyzer. The BQA 1000 is an at-line analyzer designed to provide fast and accurate results with an impressive rate of 100 scans/second. The analyzer has been pre-calibrated for a number of harsh biodiesel production applications to expedite set up and on-going analyses. In addition, new calibrations can be added to the analyzer to meet future testing requirements.

Scientific Support Services Ltd will also be distributing the Aspectrics 2750 Biodiesel Analyzer which is capable of performing reliable and accurate quality assurance measurements of methanol, water and total glycerin in biodiesel. It is also designed to measure water content in ethanol, biodiesel blend determination and is capable of analyzing ethanol/gasoline blends. The analyzer is a highly flexible platform able to provide pass/fail information on multiple biodiesel contaminants before samples are sent out for ASTM certification.

With a rich heritage in the distribution of scientific instrumentation, Scientific Support Services Ltd is certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 by BSI Management Systems for the Sale and Service of Analytical Instrumentation and the Provision of Training and Consultancy Services. Under the terms of the agreement, Scientific Support Services Ltd will provide a comprehensive range of support services from fast and efficient technical support to preventative maintenance and performance verification.
