ArborSystems Introducing New Insecticide Product At International Arborist Trade Show

New from ArborSystems: Retriever Insecticide for tree injection application to ornamental or non-bearing fruit and nut trees. Controls Aphids, Caterpillars, Scale, Japanese Beetles, Leaf Miners, Leafhoppers and other pests using their no drilling method and advanced technology for tree treatment.

Retriever Insecticide is available in 120 ml and 1000 ml Quick-Connect Chemical Packs. It is for tree injection application to ornamental or non-bearing fruit and nut trees. Retriever contains the active ingredient Acetamiprid and is formulated to translocate in the tree’s vascular system when injected.

Pests controlled by Retriever include Adelgids, Adult leaf eating beetles (including European chafer, Japanese beetle and Oriental beetle), Aphids (including Cotton, Green, Peach, Melon and Wooly), Borers (including Flathead apple, but not Emerald ash or Asian longhorned beetles), Caterpillars (including Asian cycad scale, Cabbage looper, Diamondback moth, Fall army worm, Gypsy moth, Southern army worm and Tobacco bud worm), Citrus and other thrips (including Cotton, Palm and Western flower), Crane fly larvae, European pine sawfly, Fungus gnat larvae, Hard and soft scales (including Caribbean black, Cottony maple, Euonymus, Fletcher, Florida wax, Green shield, Indian wax, Oyster shell, Pine needle, San Jose and Tea), Hemlock wooly adelgids, Leaf miners (including Chrysanthemum and Citrus leaf), Leafhoppers (including Glassy wing sharpshooter and Potato), Mealybugs (including Citrus, Longtail, Maderia, Obscure and Pink hibiscus), Psyllids, Scale insects (including Azalea bark, Calico, Gloomy), Strawberry weevils, Swede midge, Tentiform leaf miner and Whiteflies (including Banded, Giant, Greenhouse, Silverleaf and Sweet potato).

The Wedgle is a no-drill tree treatment system -- an easy, fast and tree-friendly way to treat almost any tree in five minutes or less. It is the only tree trunk injection application method that does not require a drilled hole. Also, there is no mixing in the field, waiting for uptake of chemicals, guarding during draining process or need for power, pumps or return trips by applicators.

ArborSystems chemicals are used with their Direct-Inject Tree Injection System as an injection into the flare or base of the tree to ensure even distribution through the tree’s vascular system. Their plant growth regulator products consist of Mastiff which reduces tree growth up to 70% over three years including stem elongation and wood formation and Pinscher used on ornamental trees to reduce flowering and fruit/seeds production decreasing cleanup and turf maintenance problems without comprising tree health.

Their micronutrients product line improves tree health, promotes leaf growth and relieves symptoms of iron chlorosis, manganese deficiency and drought and transplant stress. Their Quick-Connect Injection Tips are designed to treat all types of trees including hardwoods, conifers and palms.
