AquaGard System
The system combines a selected seal with a moisture-warning or control device to prevent unexpected maintenance and downtime. Customers can select from two product lines, AquaChek and AquaDri, for quick installation in various environments including pulp and paper, chemical processing, power generation, and refineries.
AquaChek, an active warning system, provides advanced notice of unsafe moisture levels. The system includes a contact-design bearing isolator that works in the shaft in any orientation, including vertical down, with zero leakage or moisture intrusion. The seal is paired with a moisture-alert sensor. A light, which signals green at 10-second intervals to ensure the system is functional, flashes yellow when the saturated relative humidity exceeds 70 percent.
AquaDri, an active moisture-maintenance system, excludes dust and removes excess moisture to extend the life of rotating equipment. Each system combines a bearing isolator with a closed-system dryer that prevents contamination and spillage. The dryer has a viewport and does not require adjustment or level setting.
