This guide provides some background to the most common techniques and applications of gel permeation chromatography and size exclusion chromatography (GPC/SEC), for anyone not familiar with the equipment and methods used in these important analytical techniques. As this is a basic introduction you do not need to know any chemistry to get something useful from it, though a little knowledge is definitely a good thing.
