Akzo Nobel To Expand Chemical Facilities At Lima, OH Plant

Jacobs Engineering Group of Ohio will provide preliminary engineering and scope definition services to Akzo Nobel Chemical Inc. for a new chemical facility at the company's existing Lima, OH-situated plant.

John McLachlan, Jacobs Group vice president, said: "We are very excited about this project. It is the first opportunity we've had to demonstrate our full-service capabilities—including modular construction—to Akzo Nobel. We intend this to be the beginning of a long-standing relationship to support Akzo Nobel's worldwide operations."

Akzo Nobel believes that completion of this expansion will make the Company one of the world leaders in chelate production.
