ABC Laboratories, Inc
ABC has a major commitment to meeting the needs of the pharmaceutical industry, including a particularly strong offering of services for veterinary pharmaceutical companies and for segments of the radiopharmaceutical and medical device industries. ABC has additional services tailored to clients in several other industries that innovate new products requiring human and ecological risk assessment. In the crop protection sector, ABC is the world's leading provider of field and laboratory studies for the registration of crop protection chemicals on an international basis. ABC also supports the product stewardship and chemical notification programs of companies that develop new chemicals and consumer products (especially soaps and detergents) through its leadership position in environmental fate and effects testing.
ABC remains a private company that was founded in 1968 (as Analytical Bio-Chemistry Laboratories, Inc.) by a University of Missouri Professor of Biochemistry (Charles Gehrke) and two former graduate students (Jim Ussary and David Stalling). Today our company employs over 200 people and handles some $16 million in contracts annually.
