By using Cognis' ILX Inline Mixer and Adasil ESF, you can apply a silicone softener wet-on-wet that will give your fabric a softer, slicker, more luxurious hand without increasing your finishing costs. Join us to learn more about our non-yellowing hydrophilic softener, and the Inline Mixer we use to control application.

High Point Textile Auxiliaries will demonstrate various silicone softener chemistries and their effect and benefits on various fabrics.
The Mitsubishi demonstration will illustrate the mode and mechanism of fabric protection through the use of fluorochemical fabric protectors. They will describe and compare the chemistry manufacturing steps and performance differentiation of the range of fluorochemical fabric protectors found in the market.
Fleissner will show a Powerpoint presentation on Aquanet.

Testfabrics Inc. will demonstrate the upgraded (in U.S.) Ozone Fading Chamber for Colorfastness to Ozone. This unit is safer and easier to operate than previous ozone cabinets, with controls for time and precise ozone levels, a rotating specimen holder, and an automatic "ozone killer" to prevent excess ozone from being released.

Werner Mathis will demonstrate a Labcoater LTE-S, a combination coater and dryer. Of specific interest is the IR sensor, a contactless thermometer which detects the surface temperature of a substrate. The demonstration will show how long it takes to evaporate water out of the substrate and then the time required to reach the final curing temperature. Werner Mathis will award a door prize to the individual who guesses the correct drying time of a specific cotton sample.
