Rochester, NY - Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced a series of Tank Liners created specifically for use with `1NALGENE Brand Cylindrical Tanks. Suitable for single use biopharmaceutical and diagnostic reagent fluid processing, NALGENE Tank Liners are designed to fit NALGENE Cylindrical Tanks. The open top, flat bottom design enhances mixing capabilities providing an easy-to-use and disposable fluid handling system that reduces the time and labor involved in cleaning. "Our development of the tank liners came about through requests from our customers," said Ken Falkowitz, director of marketing for Bioproduction and OEM products. "We now offer a single source solution for liners and tanks," he added.

The tank liners are composed of co-extruded low-density polyethylene film that has been certified to be animal derived component-free (ADCF). Offered in ten different sizes, ranging from capacities of 5 gallons (19 liters) to 200 gallons (787 liters), NALGENE Tank Liners are available either non-irradiated or gamma irradiated (25 to 40 kGy). Designed and manufactured for use with high value products, the tank liners are non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, food-grade and compliant with the USP Class VI. To preserve contamination-free delivery to the point of use, NALGENE Tank Liners are packaged individually in heat sealed double poly-lined cartons.
