KNF Neuberger Expands Its German Manufacturing Plant

KNF Neuberger, a leading manufacturer of gas and liquid diaphragm pumps, has recently expanded its Freiburg-Munzingin manufacturing site with a brand new 1500 m2 building opened at an inaugural ceremony in October 2004. The extension will house an expanded pump assembly and test area, and represents a significant investment in the production of gas pumps in Germany; an investment that Martin Becker, Group Managing Director of KNF Neuberger, says is the result of continuing confidence shown in KNF's products by new and existing customers and their demand for high quality pumps.

The opening ceremony was attended by local and international KNF personnel and local dignitaries from the village of Munzingen in Baden-Wurttemburg, where KNF has been based for 35 years. Mr Becker took the opportunity to thank the highly skilled and experienced staff at KNF Neuberger, whose dedication to quality represented a key factor behind the decision to invest in the new facility. He also thanked all those involved in the planning and construction of the new building. The event was a cause for much celebration at KNF Neuberger and various groups from the local community provided musical entertainment throughout the day, followed by a traditional fest in the evening enjoyed by all.
