High Performance Paint Remover Enables Damage-Free Parts Restoration, Is Non-Toxic And Biodegradable

Sunnyvale, CA - Applied Chemical Laboratories, Inc., an innovator in specialty chemical formulations for electronics manufacturing, architectural products, and bio-pharmaceutical applications, recently introduced ACL-707 Green Piranha, a high performance environmentally friendly stripper for removing otherwise permanent paints from metallic surfaces.

Green Piranha represents a new generation of chemicals made possible by technology developed to meet the stringent requirements of computer chip manufacturing. The new formulation quickly and effortlessly strips polymer coatings such as epoxy, polyester, urethane, TGIC and hybrid powders; as well as military epoxies, high and low baked water, Teflon, Xylan, Halar and other liquid and dry industrial coatings. Green Piranha is 100% compatible for use with sensitive alloys including aluminum and magnesium. Tenacious coatings are quickly removed without damaging the substrate or changing critical dimensions or tolerances.

Proprietary, corrosion inhibiting technology prevents damage to traditional surface preparations such as anodized aluminum, chrome, nickel, zinc and other plating. Even mirror polished aluminum and other cosmetic surface treatments remain damage free.

There is great demand today for products that promote a healthy environment, generate less waste and pollution, and promote sustainability. "Green Piranha is aptly named," said Shawn Sahbari, Vice President of Marketing and Sales. "Our Green-Cubed philosophy of product development combines natural and sustainable bio-based ingredients (green), with post consumer recycled materials (green), to achieve cost-effective solutions that contribute to a positive bottom line (green) for customers. Piranha describes the product's functionality as it quickly and effortlessly strips bare parts coated with the toughest industrial materials."

Green Piranha is immediately available in 5 and 55 gallon containers, and 330 gallon totes (IBCs). Contact factory for applications support, samples and volume pricing.
