PinnacleAIS To Provide Marathon With Asset Integrity Program During Construction Of The Nation's Largest Refinery
Houston, TX - PinnacleAIS, a leading provider of services and technology specializing in improved asset integrity for the petroleum and chemical processing industry, recently announced that it has been selected by Marathon, a leader in the gas and oil industry, to provide Asset Integrity services during expansion of its Garyville refinery. The facility will soon have more than 425,000 bpd of refining capacity, making it the largest oil refinery in the U.S.
Under the terms of the agreement with Marathon, PinnacleAIS and its partners will implement its Mechanical Integrity program across all new assets in the Garyville refinery, including field inspection, data gathering, QA/QC monitoring, risk-based inspection (RBI) analysis, document consolidation and organization, and Meridium implementation. The initiative marks the first time that a major grassroots facility has implemented a turnkey Mechanical Integrity program during the construction phase, enabling the program to be up and running prior to startup.
"By partnering with PinnacleAIS during the construction phase of the Garyville refinery, rather than after the fact, Marathon will gain a greater and earlier return on their investment, while at the same time ensuring that the facility is operating safely and efficiently," said Ryan Sitton, Founder and CEO of PinnacleAIS. "We are ecstatic that Marathon has chosen PinnacleAIS for such a pioneering and large-scale project, and we believe that this initiative marks a major shift in the way the oil and gas industry will implement MI programs in the future."
In addition to its Mechanical Integrity program, PinnacleAIS provides its clients with a number of integrated solutions including Process and Operational Integrity, Compliance/Process Safety Management and Business Improvement. Each of these four key areas can be interwoven to provide a complete model that fully optimizes asset integrity.
PinnacleAIS provides the following solutions for its clients:
- Ensures the most strategic use of inspection resources
