Evans Consoles Supplies Custom Control Room Furniture To Petro Rabigh, The Largest Integrated Oil Refinery And Petrochemical Production Facility Ever

Calgary, AB - Evans Consoles, one of the world leader in premium control room console solutions, supplies custom control room furniture to Petro Rabigh, the largest integrated oil refinery and petrochemical production facility ever built.

Scheduled to go into operation in October of 2008, the Petro Rabigh plant is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical Japan and is located in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the plant will be the world's largest and measure well over 3,000 acres (the equivalent of 2,269 football fields) and will initially produce 18.4 million tons per year (mpta) of petroleum-based products and 2.4 mpta of ethylene and propylene-based derivatives.

The dedicated control rooms in which Evans' custom operator consoles are installed are the heart and soul of the massive plant's daily operations, and from where all the plant's critical operations will be monitored 24/7.

"We are honored to be working with Saudi Aramco once again" says Alena Poremsky, Evans Consoles Sales Manager for Europe and the Middle East. "Petro Rabigh's and Saudi Aramco's continued use of high quality console furniture in its refineries speaks to the company's overall commitment to quality and safety."
