VarTech's Offers A New 17.0" NEMA 4X Computer Workstation

Baton Rouge, LA - VarTech's ToughStation line of NEMA 4X computer systems introduces the new 17" LCD/Computer Workstation, VT170WKS, which is a NEMA 4X (IP67) stainless steel fully enclosed workstation with an integrated keyboard and pointing device. This system has been engineered to survive in the harshest environments, such as coal mines, rock quarries, oil rigs, chemical plants and the production floor of food processing and other facilities where complete wash down of equipment is required.

The VT170WKS, 17" LCD/Computer Workstation has a 17" TFT LCD, closed-loop thermal management system, VGA to SXGA resolution, -20°C or -40°C to 55°C operating temperatures, optional resistive and capacitive touch systems, optional 12VDC or 24VDC power supplies, sealed tactile membrane keyboard with touchpad, and watertight rox gland for cable exit & entry. Its core computer is the VarTech PowerCube, a powerful system with an Intel Pentium Core Duo 1.73 GHz processor.

The VT170WKS is built to withstand the harshest conditions with a sealed, NEMA 4x-compliant, stainless steel enclosure. There are no external vents, which protects the monitor components from dust, dirt, moisture, chemicals oil, and other external contaminants.

VarTech's ToughStation line, manufactured in VarTech's Horsham, PA facility, is a complete line of NEMA 4X computers, workstations, panel computers, and LCD displays.
