Spounbonded polyester delivers up to 99.997% efficiency at 2 micron and above. Because it's surface loading rather than depth loading (like cellulose), polyester requires 33-50% of the total surface area needed by cellulose filters for a given volume of air. This permits wider pleat spacing and fuller use of the filter medium.
Spunbonded polyester is a tough, durable continuous strand media that requires no expanded metal outer screen to maintain pleat rigidity and strengeth.
