New BelGAS NACE Compliant Stainless Steel Gas Pressure Regulators With Industry Exclusive Port Sizes Up To 1" NPT

400

The BelGAS division of Marsh Bellofram Corporation, a member of the Bellofram Group of Companies, has introduced the Type 52SS, a family of NACE compliant stainless steel gas pressure regulators and filters.

The Type 52SS is designed for effective service within a wide variety of sour gas, high-corrosion, and other severe environments. They are offered with a wide range of available port sizes, from ¼” up to an industry exclusive 1” NPT.

The specialty construction of the BelGAS Type 52SS features a 316 stainless steel housing and filter assemblies, with fluorocarbon elastomers used for the control diaphragm and supply valve. The Type 52SS operates over pressure ranges of up to 150 PSIG (10.3 BAR), with excellent stability, repeatability and low droop. In addition, Type P52SSFR and P52SSAR regulators, as well as Types P52SSF and P52SSAF, have built-in dripwells for the effective trapping of water, oil and other contaminants. Contaminants are easily flushed from the dripwell via a convenient manual or automatic drain valve. In addition, their easily removable 40-48 Micron Filter is constructed of sintered 316 stainless steel. Units also feature a tapped vent for ease of exhaust gas capture.

BelGAS Type P52SS gas pressure regulators can be mounted in one of three configurations: through-panel mounted, with the supplied mounting nut (regulators only); bracket-mounted, using the optional bracket (regulators only); or pipe mounted, via its ports (regulators and filters). Both the regulators and filter assemblies comply with NACE Standard MR0175 (Metals for Sulfide Stress Cracking and Stress Corrosion Cracking Resistance in Sour Oilfield Environments). Filter-only assemblies are also available upon request. All units are available with standard lead times of just ten business days.

Typical applications for the Type 52SS include petrochemical processing, chemical plants, food processing and paper/pulp mills.
