Mixers

Stainless Fabrication, Inc.ffers a variety of mixers for various applications. SFI engineers will work with you to design the best mixer to meet specific requirements.

Sweep:

• Designed for medium to low viscosities; low solids products
• Keeps product moving gently
• Keeps product from sticking to sidewall
• Constant movement enhances heat transfer
• Available in full sweep (side and bottom) or side and bottom only

Scrape:

• Designed for products that are sensitive to shear or violent mixing
• Provides a solution to burn-on problems
• Bottom scrape assists with product unloading
• Viscosity ranges from low to extremely high
• Available in full sweep (side and bottom) or side and bottom only

High-Speed Axial Turbine:

• Size and number of turbines are based on the specific application
• Viscosity ranges from 100 cps-50,000 cps
• Minimal air entrainment

Counter Rotating:

• Diverse mixer combines turbine and scrape mixers
• Used where a great deal of mixing is required but the product is very sensitive to violent mixing
• The two mixers operate independently of each other, allowing the individual horsepower and speeds to be perfectly matched to the process requirements.
• Viscosity ranges from low to extremely high.

Universal Mixer:

• Vertical offset turbine with full scrape for difficult, high viscosity, thixotropic applications
