CPF DUALAM has extensive experience working with a wide range of thermoplastic materials which include polyvinyl chloride ( PVC), post-chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), polypropylene (PP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene (Halar - ECTFE) ethylene tetrafuoroethylene (Tefzel-ETFE), fluorinated ethylenepropylene (Teflon-FEP) and Perfluoroalkoxy (Teflon -PFA), Hyflon MFA, a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoromethylvinylether as well as Teflon PTFE . Over the years CPF has developed proprietary techniques to assure uniform bonding of these thermoplastics to the fibreglass reinforced plastics (FRP). Chemical bonding is used for the PVC and CPVC materials. Mechanical bonding is assured with the use of fabric backed sheets in all other cases.

Over the years, the range of applications was expanded to include towers, stacks, reactors and pressure vessels. Large vessels can be designed to withstand full vacuum to -14 p.s.i.g., and self-supporting stacks designed to withstand hurricane force winds . Smaller vessels ( 6-8" in diameter) have also been built to withstand internal pressure to 150 p.s.i.g. CPF also fabricates process piping, ducting, tower internals and fans.

Our in house engineering staff can design vessels according to proposed ASME Section X class II - FRP Pressure Vessel Code, utilising both laminate theory and finite element analysis of the more complex sections of a tank or vessel.

We enclose in the following pages Typical Properties for each of the above thermoplastic liners.
