A simple and quick test method minimizes potential user errors to ensure repeatable and reliable results
Enviro Tech Chemical Services (ETCS) is pleased to announce its new offering, a peroxyacetic acid (PAA) electronic testing unit that enables operators to conduct water disinfection validation tests at the point-of-use and get results within 60 seconds. The Kemio is able to quantify dilute PAA solutions between 2-2000 ppm without dilution and is unaffected by the presence of hydrogen peroxide.
The Kemio testing device is powered by patented, single-use sensors which generate an electrical current by reacting with chemicals in the water sample. Its electrical signal is the measurement used to determine the concentration of chemicals within the sample. The water disinfection detection device does require the use of a new testing strip for each individual test, but the actual instrument is built for industrial environments. In addition, all testing data collected is protected via an encrypted data transfer.
“The fact this device requires no training and operators can test for multiple chemicals in one instrument and get reliable results in 60 seconds, plus reduce their labor costs, is the true beauty of this product,” said Joseph Donabed, ETCS research and development chemist and microbiologist. "Our R&D team has been working closely with Palintest over the past six months to validate the technology and we are very pleased to make the Kemio system available to our customers."
