The Shand & Jurs 94640 Pilot Operated Relief Valve is a low-pressure safety-relief valve for vessel applications, from general product tank storage to transportation vessels. At the set pressure point, a small flow is released, relieving a small pressure, which causes the pilot to open. When pressure has been reduced to overcome the lifting force, the cavity pressure helps to quicken the closure of the pilot, which closes the main seat and the pressures are returned to the beginning points.
