Suntest CPS/CPS+

Suntest CPS/CPS+
The Suntest CPS/CPS+ tabletop accelerated xenon lightfastness instruments are modern light exposure and weathering chambers which provide essential information on the long term response of products and materials to climatic conditions, in particular solar radiation.
The Suntest CPS/CPS+ tabletop accelerated xenon lightfastness instruments are modern light exposure and weathering chambers which provide essential information on the long term response of products and materials to climatic conditions, in particular solar radiation.

The Suntest is a suitable instrument for routine testing during production, for inspection of incoming goods or for screening new materials before production of finished goods.

The CPS (Controlled Power System) provides controlled irradiance levels for reliable, reproducible test results time after time.

In contrast to the time-tested manually operated Suntest CPS, the Suntest CPS+ instrument combines proven xenon technology with modern controls. The CPS+ features a microprocessor, measuring sensors and control capabilities for a wide variety of applications and laboratory needs.

The CPS+ microprocessor controller, along with the sensors for irradiance, black standard and test chamber temperatures, allow for programming and controlling of test conditions in pre-programmed steps for different test segments.

The lighting system consists of an air cooled xenon arc lamp with a quartz filter which emits a light that's spectral distribution is very similar to that of sunlight. Special UV or windows glass filters let you vary the spectral distribution to simulate outdoor or behind window glass conditions.
