A viable alternative to conventional mechanical or differential pressure flow metering technologies, Promass 40E offers a wider measuring range, reduced cost of ownership, more signal transmission flexibility, immunity to changing process parameters, a local display, and improved long-term stability.

The PROline Promass 40E mass flowmeter carries 3-A authorization for use in sanitary environments. In addition, it is available with intrinsically safe outputs for hazardous locations.

All flowmeters in the new PROline generation feature FieldTool, common software for configuration and setup. The new line represents a modular platform from which customers can tailor the meter to meet their most demanding applications. In addition to a high level of signal output flexibility, the new configuration and service software offers individual support – from facility planning, right up to operation and maintenance.
