The Standard Mixer Extruder is designed to mix and extrude a variety of materials that might be encountered in the chemical, food, drug, plastics or rubber industries. The extrusion screw is operated in reverse during the mixing process. The diameter of the extruder barrel is sized according to the capacity of the unit. The inside diameter of the extruder barrel is machined and the outside diameter of the screw is held in close tolerance for uniform clearance. Extrusion rates vary depending on product processed and die configurations at the end of the extruder barrel.
