Visit Booth 1046 to see accurate and reliable dosing and metering pumps

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group, the world leader in peristaltic tube and hose pumps, will be showcasing its Qdos accurate, versatile chemical pumps and expanded APEX hose pump range from Bredel in booth 1046 at ACE16, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Annual Conference & Exposition, June 20-22, 2016 at McCormick Place West, Chicago, Illinois.

On display will be Qdos peristaltic metering pumps, ideal for disinfection, pH adjustment and flocculation of drinking water, wastewater, and industrial process water. The Qdos range handles flow rates from 0.001 to 31 gallons per hour at 100psi and was specifically designed to reduce chemical metering costs, compared to conventional solenoid or stepper-driven diaphragm metering pumps.

Qdos pumps eliminate the need for ancillaries, boost productivity, and cut chemical wastage due to highly accurate, linear and repeatable metering. Simple installation and easy, tool-free maintenance ensures that total cost of ownership is minimized. Watson-Marlow's patented ReNu pumphead technology provides a single, safely contained component for rapid maintenance without the need for tools. An intuitive menu offers advanced control features, including fluid level monitoring, line priming and flow calibration.

Also on display is the APEX pump range from Bredel, seal-less, valve-less hose pumps that are ideal for chemically aggressive or abrasive dosing, metering and transfer applications. With models that can handle from 0.74 to 1640 gallons per hour, APEX pumps are more reliable than air-operated diaphragm pumps and progressive cavity pumps for challenging applications. The APEX design offers significant capital and operations savings, lowering the total cost of ownership. Project payback periods for APEX pumps is extremely short, since the only wear part is the hose, which can be replaced quickly and easily without removing it from the process line.

In addition to reduced maintenance, APEX pumps deliver additional cost savings through increased uptime and process continuity. Precision machined hose elements and optimized hose compression, combined with medium pressure operation, enable the pumps to meter or transfer fluids reliably and accurately for long, uninterrupted periods of time.
