The Model PZP vibratory point level sensor provides advanced high and low level detection of materials that are too light for conventional level detection devices like rotary paddle units and RF capacitance probes.

Constructed with 304 stainless steel, the PZP probe detects materials as low as 1.5 lb./ft.3 and in certain conditions, up to 100 lb./ft.3. It operates by incorporating a piezoelectric crystal which drives the probe at a vibrating frequency of 280 Hz in free air. When material surrounds the end of the probe, the vibrating frequency is dampened, causing the electronic circuit to activate the relay.

Other features include: single-probe design, no calibration, fail-safe setting, AC and DC versions, pipe and cable extensions for top mount applications, and a split-architecture version for high-temperature and/or high-vibration applications.
