Tank Components Industries To Increase Capacity For Tank Head Manufacturing
SPRINGFIELD, MO.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Tank Components Industries (TCI), a manufacturer of tank heads and other vessel components used in the pharmaceutical, chemical, biotech, and food and beverage industries, has announced plans to expand into an 81,000 sq. ft. in Springfield, Missouri. The company plans to add 27 new jobs over the next five years to its current workforce of 55 people.
TCI is creating an 81,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with additional equipment to increase efficiency and capacity. The new site also will provide an additional 6,000 sq. ft. of office space. Additional land acquired with the facility gives TCI the option of expanding in the future.
With the growth of its business and workforce, TCI had outgrown its current manufacturing facility. “This new facility will allow us to better serve our existing customers and gives us the capacity to obtain new customers,” said Dale Shandy, President and CEO, Tank Components Industries. “We are very pleased with our decision to expand our company.
