Processing Kettles
Groen hemispheric bottom agitator kettles can be used with hot oil, hot water or hot glycol heating, in addition to traditional steam heating and cold water cooling. These kettles can be equipped with self-contained Hot Oil Heating Systems capable of providing kettle jacket temperatures as high as 550 - 600°F. These systems are ideal for products that require higher processing temperatures than available from 100 -125 PSI steam, and can be used for high temperature resins and flavor extraction.They can also be equipped with a self-contained Hot Water Heating System designed to limit processing temperature to 200°F or less. This package is ideal for heat sensitive products such as chocolate, waxes and low temp. pharmaceutical reactions or product holding.
These kettles are available in a wide range of sizes and agitator configurations, designed to meet the mixing needs of most products.
