Pre-cut Shims
Pre-cut shims are die-cut, slotted and tabbed shims that may be used to precisely adlign machinery in the vertical plane when adjusting a driver piece of machinery to a driven piece of machinery. For example, when aligning a motor to a pump.
Alignment Shims are manufactured from 304 stainless steel and are offered in 8 standard sizes and 13 standard thickness. Each shim is accurately marked with the correct thickness.
The slot in the center of the shim permits the insertion of the shim around the hold down bolt or stud. The available slot sizes will accept almost any motor size frame and applicable bolt/stud diameter.
The pre-cut shims are available in kits containing 10, 12, 20, or 25 shims of each thickness or they may be ordered in individual replacement packs containing 10, 12, 20 or 25 shims of each thickness. The kits are packaged in heavy duty metal carrying cases with a durable baked enamel finish.
