New List And Off-List Prices Announced For DOWTHERM High-Temperature Thermal Fluids

Midland, MI - The Dow Chemical Company will increase the North American list and off-list prices of all DOWTHERM High-Temperature Thermal Fluids effective July 1, 2007, or as contracts allow. The price for all DOWTHERM High-Temperature Thermal Fluids and related products will increase by 9 percent. This increase is driven by the escalating cost of raw materials, energy and transportation.

The increase applies to the following products:
DOWTHERM A
DOWTHERM G
DOWTHERM HT
DOWTHERM J
DOWTHERM MX
DOWTHERM Q
DOWTHERM RP
DOWTHERM T
AROMATIC EUTECTIC BLEND

Background
DOWTHERM High-Temperature Thermal Fluids include products in recommended operating temperatures ranging from as high as 400° C (750° F) down to -80° C (-110° F). The products are highly stable within their operating ranges and offer excellent long-term heat transfer performance. The fluids are used throughout the oil and gas industry, as well as, the pharmaceutical, chemical, and plastics processing industries.
