Bruker Optics Inc.cs now offers a new accessory mounting system for its line of FT-IR spectrometers. The Quick Lock baseplate incorporates a new positioning and locking mechanism that ensures accurate and reproducible positioning every time. The baseplate is very rugged and provides solid mounting for even heavy and bulky accessories. For more advanced accessories, additional electrical and/or pneumatic connections can be integrated into the baseplate, such that these connections are automatically made when the accessory is inserted. The Quick Lock system can also incorporate Bruker's Intelli-Sense coding for instant accessory recognition by the spectrometer. With the system, accessories can be quickly and easily exchanged without any adjustments or connections.
