Intratec Improves Its Chemical Plant Construction Index Interface

Houston, TX - Intratec Solutions LLC, the leading source for chemical markets and process economics information, is pleased to offer, since September 2015, its free chemical plant construction index – IC index – in an improved online interface (www.intratec.us/ic).

The IC Index stands for Intratec chemical plant Construction Index, an indicator, published monthly by Intratec, which enables users to scale capital costs from one time period to another. The index reconciles prices trends of fundamental components of a chemical plant construction such as labor, material and energy, providing meaningful historical and forecast data for users.

Covering historical figures and near term forecasts of up to twelve months, the IC Index it is a handy tool for a series of purposes, like cost estimation, feasibility studies and investment analysis. In fact, it is already a recognized cost-escalation index, widely used by the chemical industry community and major companies and organizations, like the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Since September 2015, the IC index is available at Intratec new website (www.intratec.us/ic). Through a more user-friendly interface, users will be able, at no cost, to not only consult the index, but also closely examine how plant construction economics have evolved within specific timeframes.
