Agilent Technologies Introduces The New Stand-Alone Sample Prep System At Pittcon 2011

Source: Agilent Technologies

A new instrument from Agilent Technologies, is a stand-alone sample prep system, that's not connected to any instrument but it does prep samples for LC and GC samples. Prior to GS or LC analysis the prep system does things like dilutions, adding standards and adding free agents then mixing those samples. The sample prep system can take an entire tray of samples or free agents can be heated up to 80 degrees, and for thermally sensitive biological samples the system has another tray that can cool down the samples to 5 degree Celsius. The whole system is controlled by it's own dedicated software that is easy to use, and keeps track of all the free agents signifying when to add more or replenish the resources.
