656T contains two temperature transmitters in a single, inch-wide device. These loop-powdered units accept universal thermocouple and millivolt input signal ranges, provide isolation, and output proportional 4-20 mA DC signals. The output can also be linearized to the input sensor signal. The 16-bit Sigma-Delta A/D converters deliver high-resolution.
Selectable thermocouple input types offer the flexibility to fit many applications. DIP switch-configuration and self-ranging technologies speed installation without pots, jumpers or software. Reverse0cating output capability enables inverse proportional control signals. CJC control requires a millivolt source to calibrate modules. A configuration lockout safety feature prevents tampering and accidental changes.
