A plating company was having trouble with cross-over contamination in their rinsing bath since they use the same rinsing/washing bath for several different plating processes. The current rinsing bath is a large rectangular tub with standing fluid that the parts are lowered into.
BETE Application Engineers recommended the standing fluid be replaced with two headers with NF fan nozzles mounted on them. The headers created a horizontal water wall much like the surface of the standing fluid. As the parts were lowered through this water wall they would be rinsed. The cross-contamination from different processes is eliminated because there is no longer any standing fluid.
