Endress + Hauser's Involvement In The Ethanol Industry

At Endress Hauser, we believe we have a responsibility to the environment and society. Since we think that ethanol is better for the environment and can help reduce US dependence on foreign oil, we know it is our responsibility to join with other companies to help deliver the message that ethanol is a high octane, high performance fuel that is clean burning, renewable and made in the USA. As a growing component of the United States' gasoline supply, ethanol delivers improved vehicle performance while reducing emissions and improving air quality.

This has led Endress Hauser to support Rahal Letterman Team Ethanol Racing. Led by major ethanol design-build firms Fagen, Inc., ICM Inc. and Broin Companies, many companies have joined together to promote the merits of ethanol through the Indy Racing platform. The IndyCar® Series has switched to ethanol as its fuel source beginning with a 10% blend this season, and moving to 100% fuel grade ethanol in 2007.

Endress Hauser is a family-owned company that develops sensors and systems that acquire, transmit and use process information for ethanol and biodiesel production. We are proud to be part of the effort to positively affect the availability of fuel with ethanol - a renewable resource.
